Proctoring Services

Do you need to have an exam proctored? 

Some library staff offer proctoring services by appointment only. You can request an appointment in person or over the phone:

Phone

Step 1.Call the Reference Desk

Call the reference desk at 973-285-6969. Ask for proctoring services. 

Step 2.Make arrangements with the proctor 

On the phone, the proctor will go over requirements for proctoring. 

Step 3.Confirm with your testing organization 

The proctor does not stay in the room with the student. It’s the student’s responsibility to make sure that this is acceptable to the testing organization. You may need to contact that institution prior to finalizing your proctoring appointment. 

In Person

Step 1.Visit the Reference Department

Go to the Reference Desk on the second floor of the library. Ask about proctoring services.

Step 2.Make arrangements with the proctor
