The Morris County Heritage Commission
presents the
2025 Pathways of History Exhibit
The Morris County Heritage Commission presents the exhibit 2025 Pathways of History featuring 8 local history organizations and some of the incredible objects they hold in their collection. Celebrating its 16th year, the annual Pathways of History tour offers Morris County residents and visitors alike a weekend full of festivities and fun. Hosted by over two dozen county-wide, town-based history organizations, the event highlights our vast local history while also showcasing special demonstrations, new exhibits, and exciting presentations offered at different locations. Please join some of the county's most knowledgeable cultural historians to tour preserved historic buildings, see restored industrial sites, and enjoy one-of-a-kind opportunities over this family-friendly weekend. The Pathways of History tour began in 2009, evolving from 5 historical societies to the nearly 45 organizations that meet the criteria today. Designed to bring awareness to the smallest local history groups, participation in the event is limited to non-profit, history-focused organizations that operate on an all-volunteer basis and never charge an admission to their sites or programs. Come by and explore the various collections here at the Morris County Library. To learn more about Pathways of History tour, October 4-5, 2025, visit https://pathwaysofhistorynj.net/.
