Do you like reading? Do you want a space to talk and discuss the stories you read? Join us from 2pm to 3pm every second Tuesday of the month for our Tuesday Book Club!

Each month we will discuss a new book. Our next meeting will be held on August 11th, and we will be discussing “The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club” by Helen Simonson.

In summer 1919, Constance finds community & purpose among a group of women running a motorcycle taxi service at a seaside resort. Explores their right to maintain independence won during WWI & societal pressures to return to traditional gender roles.

Future meetings will be:

September 8th: "Grendel" by John Gardener

October 13th: "Starling House" by Alix E. Harrow

November 10th: "Black Sun" by Rebecca Roanhorse

December 8th: "Small Things Like These" by Claire Keegan

Please note that you will need to obtain your own copy of the book for each month's discussion. Copies are available through the library consortium.

Registration is not required.
