Hail! Prithee, join us at the Morris County Library every other month for our Medieval Literature Book Club. We plan to read works of all kinds written between the 5th to the late 15th century.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 29th at 6:30pm.
This month's pick: The Mabinogion, recommended translation by Sioned Davies
The Mabinogion is a collection of eleven medieval Welsh tales, whose invention and fantastical interweaving of Celtic mythology and Arthurian romance have made it one of literature's greatest epics.
Please note that you will need to obtain your own copy of the book for each month's discussion. Copies are available through the library consortium.
