March Computer Classes

The library is offering a variety of computer classes this month. There will be classes for beginners and users who have more advanced skills.

The library is offering classes for beginners starting with an Excel Series, which begins on Wednesday, March 13th at 2:00pm. There is a total of three classes in the series, each will take place on a Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Excel II will take place on March 20th and Excel III will take place on the 27th. Otherwise you can take advantage of our Access Series, which begins on Tuesday, March 19th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. There are two classes in this series, the second will take place on Tuesday, March 26th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.  

Want to learn how to use Word to assist with marketing or promotions? On Tuesday, March 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, you can learn how to to create an order form and send a mass e-mail merge for marketing in our E-Mail Merge in Word class. 

Looking for a new job or hoping to make your resume stand out? Join us on Wednesday, March 6th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for Digital Job Searching. During this class we will highlight what information you might need before beginning your job search, as well as the things you can add to your applications to help them stand out. 

Looking for something a little more creative? Join us on Tuesday, March 12thfrom 2:00pm to 4:00pm for Digital Cards in PowerPoint. Learn how to create an animated holiday card using PowerPoint and upload to the web.

Do you like online shopping or are you looking to start selling your own products online? Join us for Online Marketplaces & Ecommerce: Buying and Selling Online. This class will take place on Tuesday, March 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This class will focus on how to protect yourself while buying and selling online, as well as the different kinds of online marketplaces that can be utilized, and how people can take full advantage of them.

Registration is required for all computer classes. 

Please note basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for all classes. Standard classes last around 90 minutes and are designed for those with little to no experience. Classes in a series should be taken in order. Please bring a flash drive to computer classes to save your work.
