Lunch and Learn with Sheriff Gannon and Prosecutor Carroll

We are delighted to welcome Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon and Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll to speak at the library on Friday, April 4th from 11:30am - 1:00pm. The topic that they will be discussing is: The History of Law Enforcement as it relates to Morris County, the Structure, Functions, and Current Crime Trends. There will be time for Q&A, and a light lunch will be provided after the presentation.

Sheriff James M. Gannon, the 77th Sheriff of Morris County, was elected to his first, three-year term in 2016, and was sworn in on January 2, 2017. Sheriff Gannon was re-elected to his third term in 2023, and currently is in the seventh year of his position. Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll is a veteran attorney, having held numerous, sensitive law enforcement positions in New Jersey state and county government during his over four decades of public and private service.
