K9 Demo for Teens

Join us for a K9 Demo presented by the Morris County Sheriff's Department on Friday, February 23rd at 3:30pm. Learn about what K9s do on the job and see one in action!

A K9 is a working dog, specifically trained to work within law enforcement, military, or search and rescue. K9s typically undergo training for months before gaining their general certification. K9s are generally trained for specific tasks such as keeping officers safe from harm, locating missing persons, searching for crime scene evidence and more. 

This program is for teens and tweens ages 12 to 18. Registration is required. Please note children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
