The library is offering a variety of computer classes this month. There will be classes for beginners and users who have more advanced skills.

The library is offering classes for beginners starting with a PC Basics class on Tuesday, January 6th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Learn computer terms, understand the parts of the computer as well as how to create folders or access the internet.

We will be offering an Excel Series, beginning on Wednesday, January 7th at 2:00pm. There is a total of three classes in the series, each taking place on a Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Excel II will take place on January 14th and Excel III will take place on the 21st. There will additionally be an Introduction to Excel Tables class on Wednesday, January 28th at 2:00pm.

On Tuesday, January 13th at 2:00pm, we will be offering an Internet Basics class. Learn about the internet, setting your home page and using Google.

We also have an Online Scam and Phishing class being offered on Thursday, January 15th at 2:00pm. In this class, learn what phishing and social engineering scams are and how to spot them. 

Registration is required for all computer classes. 

Please note basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for all classes. Standard classes last around 90 minutes and are designed for those with little to no experience. Classes in a series should be taken in order. Please bring a flash drive to computer classes to save your work.
