January Computer Classes

The library is offering a variety of computer classes this month. There will be classes for beginners and users who have more advanced skills.
The library is offering classes for beginners starting with an Excel Series, which begins on Wednesday, January 8th at 2:00pm. There is a total of three classes in the series, each will take place on a Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Excel II will take place on January 15th and Excel III will take place on the 22nd. There will additionally be an Introduction to Excel Tables class held on Wednesday, January 29th at 2:00pm.
For beginners, the library is offering a PC Basics series. Classes will take place on Tuesdays, January 21st and 28th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Learn computer terms, understand the parts of the computer as well as how to create folders or access the internet.
If you are interested in learning more about YouTube, make sure to come to our YouTube Basics class on Friday, January 24th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Learn the basics of using YouTube both as a viewer and a content creator. Will go over the different menus and options available through the platform as well as how you might post a video through your account.
Registration is required for all computer classes.
Please note basic mouse and keyboard skills are required for all classes. Standard classes last around 90 minutes and are designed for those with little to no experience. Classes in a series should be taken in order. Please bring a flash drive to computer classes to save your work.
