Children's Winter Programs

The Morris County Library has a fun-filled winter programs schedule!
Winter Grab & Go Crafts will be available for children ages 3 to 12 on Saturday, January 20th. Craft kits can be picked up at the Children's Service Desk. One craft per child, while supplies last.
Our popular Preschool Story Time and Music with Mr. Laurence returns on Tuesday, January 23rd. Children ages 2 to 5 can join us for stories, fingerplays, and music. Story Time will be held each Tuesday from January 23rd to February 27th. All sessions are from 10:00am to10:30am. Registration is not required for story time.
On Saturday, February 10th children can pick up a Lunar New Year Grab & Go Craft! Craft kits can be picked up at the Children's Service Desk. One craft per child, while supplies last.
Valentine's Day Grab & Go Crafts will be available on Wednesday, February 14th. Craft kits can be picked up at the Children's Service Desk. One craft per child, while supplies last.
Join us for Black History Month with a presentation of "Freedom Songs- The Music of Black History", presented by Bright Star Theatre Company. This program will take place on Thursday, February 15th from 4:00pm to 4:45pm. This program offers a rich exploration of the Black experience in America through song. This program is recommended for children ages 5 and up. Registration for this program is required and will begin on Monday, January 20th. In March, celebrate Read Across America Week by completing the children's Scavenger Hunt! The Scavenger Hunt will be available from Saturday, March 2nd to Saturday, March 9th! Stop by the library during business hours to find the lost storybook characters in the children's room. When you find them all, stop by the children's desk and collect a prize!
On Tuesday, March 5th at 3:45pm join author and illustrator Jay Cooper for a special visit! At this event children will get to participate in an interactive cartoon drawing game. This program is recommended for children ages 5 to 12. Registration for this program is required and will begin on Wednesday, February 21st.
