Celebrate the beginning of Summer Reading at the Morris County Library on June 22nd from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM! There will be a variety of events throughout the day for children and families to enjoy!
From 11:30AM to 1:30 PM stop in to have your face painted by Fantasy Fairies Face Painting! While you're here you can also meet some animals from Swift Farms Petting Zoo! Animals will be visiting between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM. The petting zoo will be held outside the library and is for children of all ages. Please note parents and caregivers must remain with their children at all times.
Little Rockers Children's Concert will also be at the library from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM for a live, interactive rock show for children of all ages. Chris and Jessie Apple will sing all your favorite Little Rockers tunes and some classic rock covers! This program will be held in the library's public meeting room.
No registration is required for library events; however, space is limited for the Little Rocker's concert and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Programs sponsored by the Morris County Library Foundation.
Don't forget to sign up for the Summer Reading Club at Morris County Library! Registration will be available all day in the Children's Room. Stop by the service desk to register and receive a goody bag for signing up! The Summer Reading Club is open for children from birth to age 12.
There will also be a Hand-Print Kindness Tree located in the library! Make a handprint leaf by tracing your hand and write down an ace of kindness to display on our Kindness Tree Mural.
