Authors Mally Becker, Nev March and Lori Robbins will lead a panel presentation on top tips to start your novel and, just as importantly, top things to avoid.

1pm: How Much is Historical and How Much is Fiction

Historical fiction writer Michelle Cameron will discuss the balance required in historical fiction and the different ways writers address the question of what's real and what's imagined?

1 pm: Draw-Along with Mike Moran

Draw along with children's illustrator Mike Moran.

2 pm: Cartooning Techniques

Professional cartoonist and instructor from the Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphics will demonstrate cartooning techniques.
