Fall Lunchtime Concert Series

Lunchtime music returns with stellar performers and thoughtful selections! Performances will be held from 12:15-12:45 p.m. in the back of our Readers' Services area. Attendance is free of charge and seating is first-come, first-seated. We invite you to bring your lunch, snack, coffee, etc. and enjoy some great music while you eat!

Wed., 10/1, 12:15-12:45 p.m.: Troubadours: A Tribute to Joni Mitchell and Sting

Please join us for a unique program to celebrate the legendary songwriters Joni Mitchell and Sting. Both are lauded as modern-day troubadours whose influential careers have spanned more than half a century. Vocalist extraordinaire, Ereni Sevasti, will be joined by guitarist, Darren O’Neill, to craft memorable interpretations of famous songs.

Wed., 10/15, 12:15-12:45 p.m.: 100 Years of American Songwriting, 1923 to 2023

Please join us for an entertaining and educational program on important American songwriters. Musicians Marc Rosenthal (guitar/vocals) and Jeff Eyrich (bass) will perform well-known songs from the 1920’s to the 2020’s. They'll share stories about the lives and careers of the songwriters and discuss the history of American popular music.
