What’s worse than running a business with your mom and three aunties? Disposing the body of the date you accidentally killed with your mom and three aunties during your biggest contract of the year. Meddelin Chan was already feeling trapped in her family business and hung up on her college sweetheart before disaster struck. Now she must get through the biggest wedding her family has ever worked on without getting caught with the body of her blind date. What could go wrong?

This book is just plain fun. I found myself laughing throughout as the story became more and more ridiculous! I also enjoyed learning more about Chinese and Indonesian culture, such as wedding traditions.

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Favorite Excerpt: “Meddy, how can you say that? Your aunties coming over, so late at night, coming to help us get rid of body, and we don’t even offer them any food? How can? Oh, we have dragon fruit, good, good.”
